“Why do I nedd to provide translations?"
The translation of your diploma or degree is useful for study purposes such as enrolling in a vocational school or university. It is also useful for migration purposes such as a skills assessment, or applying for a sponsored or permanent visa.
The translation of a police check or pending charges certificate is required for a permanent visa application, or when you receive a request for ‘More Information’ from the immigration department.
Your marriage or birth certificate translation is required for partner and de facto visas and for permanent visas.
Other documents which may be required to be translated include: certificate of residency, rental agreement (for de facto and partner visas), reference letters (for TSS visas).
